“Going Through the Motions”- Matthew West
Let me start by saying… I know God speaks to each of us in very unique ways! I love Him for that. But today, was very different for me. I asked God to reveal where I was in my relationship with Him. His answer came like this:
I don’t wanna go through the motions
I don’t wanna go one more day
Without Your all consuming passion inside of me
I don’t wanna spend my whole life asking
What if I had given everything?
Instead of going through the motions
What God was telling me is this: Having “quiet time” just to check it off the list will never get me in-tune with God’s Plan. By Praying safe prayers, I will never see God’s true potential. And by not purposefully trying to build relationships with those that don’t know Christ, I will never Fulfill the Great Commission. All I will be doing is going through “THE MOTION.”
DO you Find Yourself Going Through The Motions Just Because Its Easy Or Comfortable? Maybe Because You’ve Done It Like That For So Long?

I’ve Got to Make a Change!
I Don’t Wanna Go through the Motions ANYMORE!
God give me the ALL CONSUMING PASSION AGAIN!
I Give everything to you.
FORGIVE me in my weakness.
